Ghepar
De la Neciclopedie
The ghepar is one of the fastest land animals living in Central Europe. This fantastic beast is rumoured to reach speeds in excess of 130 mph (200 km/h) when chasing prey. It has a short orange coat with green spots in summer but its fur turns pink and shaggy during the winter months.
The ghepar is found mostly in southern RomaniaFormat:Dn and especially around landfills. This fierce predator finds abundant food here, mostly in the form of nutrient-rich rubbish but also cockroaches, rodents, stray dogs and gipsy children. This animal uses refinery waste oil to keep its joints well lubricated.
Despite its fame the ghepar has appeared only recently. A young student actually created it in 2004 by misspelling the name of a little-known African big cat.
